PREF Zippo Lighter.

This limited edition Zippo is the result of a 2020 collaboration between the American lighter company and the artist PREF.

British graffiti artist Pref has been leaving his tracks in the street art scene for over 20 years with his symbolic typography.

He uses a unique, multi-layered lettering style to portray popular phrases and expressions. The different words can be hard to distinguish but that’s what makes his pieces so interesting to examine and this lighter is no different.

This design uses one of his famous designs that blends the phrase “U and Me”, and Zippo’s new 540 colour process allows for complete coverage of the lighter’s surface with precision artwork.

Hinges and bottom stamps are laser engraved to allow for peak performance and easy date stamp verification, but otherwise, every single nanometre of the lighter’s surface can be covered by this resilient new process. Comes packaged in a gift box.

PREF - Limited Edition Zippo Lighter

£145.00Price
  • Trained at Chelsea Collage of Art and with over 20 years of graffiti experience, PREF has been morphing, merging and layering letters into the signature style for which he has become world renowned.

PREF’s work has been making viewers re-discover everyday words and phrases in public spaces. Phrases like, “Go All The Way“, “Inner Demon” or “Fun in the Sun” are not only cleverly painted, they are also super aesthetic, allowing the artwork to cross many cultural boundaries that classic graffiti may not be able to do.
